iPatrol was built by police, for police. Key objectives are a Use Case driven user experience available on the large form factor Note4 with Stylus for data entry. With Airwatch as the EMM platform, Airwatch SDK, and NetMotion for network connectivity. Meets Home Office security and privacy guidelines, with full Audit control.

This app combines Niche RMS access, PNC, Hopewiser gazetteer, SunGard ControlWorks and Steria Storm Command and Control, with GPS Tracking, device side history, a wide range of forms from Stop Search to Intel Submit, Witness Statement, and others, and an Electronic Pocket NoteBook, with the ability to work both on-line and to a more limited extent, Off-line, given the Welsh terrain and areas lacking cellular coverage.

With twice annual releases, first to a pilot group and then forcewide, an agile process meets a large scale deployment. The large screen smartphone format, optimizing the Officer Experience, minimizing keystrokes and touch, re-using Person, Vehicle, and Address search results for form completion and data input, along with smart activities like dialing phone numbers, looking up addresses and using device capabilities to perform satnav functions just flows. All locations can be filled with address lookups, or manually supplied, all device activities are saved to the ePNB, where they can be searched or used again, and added to, and accessed for several weeks on device, and for years on the server. The ePNB is also able to accept notes, sketches, camera images and voice dictations.

Key objectives are to make a Use Case driven experience, with 2Factor authentication and PKI certificate based login available on all major mobile platforms, all at the same time. We support multiple EMM/MDM tools, and work with Entrust and Gemalto.

2Factor Authentication can be any combination of two of the following three: Fingerprint readers / Strong network passwords / hardware tokens and PKI Certificate based logon can be completed with NFC/BT cards/tokens or soft/derived certificates

This is our second generation electronic PocketNotebook, ePNB.

Used together with MPANiche, all Device side query and data submit activities are recorded, and timestamped and geotagged. Further, ePNB permits notes, sketches, camera pictures and audio dictation to be captured, locked, sent to the server for permanent storage and search and retrieval as pdfs. The goal has been to provide an alternative, semiautomatic method for officers to capture all notes in an electronic format, suitable for searching and extract and use in court and legal proceedings.

Used standalone, ePNB permits notes, sketches, camera pictures and audio dictation to be captured, locked, sent to the server for permanent storage and search and retrieval as pdfs.

ePNB works in conjunction with the MPAServer and the ePNB plugin and database and desktop client for access and retrieval. Superusers and managers can also access subordinates ePNB entries.

This product was designed to have searchable contents, with better access to PocketNoteBook data than traditional paper based notebooks, and according to ACPO guidelines for digital evidence.

Electronic PocketNotebook is still evolving and we are open to input and further requirements that might make this suitable in your own jurisdictions. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your requirements.
